Despite the subdued tempo of land sales in the Gungahlin region over the past couple of months, the market is now showing some signs of positive momentum developing. Instyle Agents and Luton organised and ran a land auction on behalf of 3 Property Group on Thursday the 5th of April 2018. The auction was held at the Ainslie Football Club and was one of the rare occasions when the land sales were conducted by a private developer and not directly by the Suburban Land Agency. 6 blocks were sold during the auction or just after under the auction conditions. A similar number are currently under offer as a result of the auction exposure and post auction negotiations. While this may not seem overly impressive in the overall context of land sales in Throsby it is the biggest one day transaction volume since the blocks were released in 2016 by the SLA.
This also signals the renewed interest in this premium Gungahlin suburb that is set to sit alongside Crace and Forde as the Gungahlin’s premium master planned community.
